Copilot 1.0 Feature Summary

Copilot 1.0 will be announced as GA with the V10 release scheduled for September '24. Here are the features that will be available in this release.

Access AIs from within your Mattermost workspace. Ask Copilot anything in the RHS panel.
Avoid being locked in to a single AI provider. Choose your own preferred LLM solution. Supports OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Azure OpenAI, and other OpenAI compatible AIs.
Keep your data secure and private. Copilot supports self-hosted LLMs, enabling you to keep your proprietary data in-house.

Calls summarization. Turns meeting recordings into actionable summaries
Extract relevant insights from your threads and messages. Quickly catch up on conversations.
Multi-LLM support. Use multiple different LLMs to provide flexible and specialized AI capabilities to your users. LLMs are user-selectable.
Bring Copilot into any conversation so that the AI can summarize, transform and analyze your conversations and documents.
Stay on top of your work: Copilot will find Action Items and Open Questions in new messages.
Integrated with Jira and GitHub. Ask Copilot about JIRA tickets, GitHub PRs and issues.
Gain insights into images. Copilot will analyze posted images and describe them in detail.
Track LLM usage and health with plugin metrics. Measure statistics such as API and LLM requests and API errors.
Customize LLM behavior for your organization. Copilot custom instructions allow administrators to add additional context to every request, and let’s you give your bots special personalities. For example, you can add a list of all of your company specific acronyms so the bot knows what you are talking about and users can ask for definitions.
