New Layout
The New Layout establishes a better hierarchy for all the different levels of information. The use of more rounded corners and depth on the panels establishes a new aesthetic for the product.
Layers
In addition to the new structure, a new UI construct of overlapping panels with softer, rounded corners is introduced. Each area of the app occupies a level of depth depending on the layer order it exists in.
