Bookmarks permissions on System Schema
We'll add two new permissions in the permission schemes page called "Manage Channel Bookmarks", nested in both the "Manage Private Channels" and "Manage Public Channels" sections of the permissions schemes page.
On the backend, granting the "Manage Channel Bookmarks" permission will grant the entire set of "add", "edit", "delete", and "order" permissions for bookmarks. We are just not surfacing that level of granularity on the front-end today.
"Manage Channel Bookmarks" will be offered on the following roles in the system scheme: All Members, Channel Admins, Team Admins, System Admins.
Default enabled for all roles ^
This permission is only available on enterprise and would be disabled on the professional plan.
Permissions for DMs and GMs
Within DM/GMs, users can always manage bookmarks (similar to managing the header today)
Channel Moderation
Channel moderation setting is added to override the permission scheme in specific channels: Default state of the checkbox is based off the permission scheme setting for that channel type (public vs private).
Permissions for Guests
Guests are not granted the ability to manage bookmarks ever (no checkboxes offered in the permission scheme settings or channel moderation settings)
