Accessing a run

Runs will be accessible from within the channel linked to that run. There are a few different places where Runs linked to a channel will be surfaced.

Runs banner

Whenever there is an Active Run linked to a channel that the user is participating in, there’ll be a banner showing the number of active runs in that channel for that user.

Another banner in the channel header adds some complexity and will conflict with other items like the bookmarks bar, active call banner, and the new messages banner. We can consider showing an icon with a number in the header as an alternative to the channel banner.

Channel info modal

If there are any Active OR Finished runs linked to a channel, there’ll be a menu item in the Channel info modal to access Playbook Runs.

Channel ••• bottom sheet

Similar to the Channel Info modal, if there are any Active OR Finished runs linked to a channel, there’ll be a menu item in the Channel info modal to access Playbook Runs.

Runs list

Clicking on the Playbook Runs menu item in the Channel Info modal, the ••• bottom sheet, or the Active Runs banner, will take the user to the Runs list. All runs linked to the channel will be accessible to the user from this screen.

There should be a filter dropdown to switch between In progress and Finished runs. If there is any In progress run linked to the channel, the In progress filter should be selected by default. If there is no In progress run for that channel, we can default to showing Finished runs.
