Environment: Mattermost v5.0.0-develop commit: 9646add
1) Open (BrowserView build) desktop app on Ubuntu
2) Use keyboard shortcuts ctrl+w to close it
Expected: App closes.
Actual: There is a warning that app was closed unexpectedly. Show details was stuck on perpetual loading and did not give more info.
QA Test Steps
Thanks a bunch for re-testing . At this point I’d say we can close this issue unless it’s something we can reliably reproduce, as it’s likely an issue with the OS.
I am not able to reproduce this after re-install.
Only happens, for me, on first try after opening the app and quitting using ctrl+q; after quitting & dismissing the error I am not able to reproduce.
Ah, sorry, replied in channel instead of here last week.
I can still repro on first try after installing deb file and opening the app; used ctrl+q to close.
Any update here?
I am using VMware Workstation Player, app installed using .deb file. I will re-test today with the latest build from last night and see if it reproduces still for either ctrl+q or ctrl+w
